Brian Ackerman
Dr. Ackerman has been following a group of disadvantaged children from preschool to high school in collaboration with Dr. Carroll Izard and Dr. Roger Kobak. His immediate interests in this project concern the effects of economic disadvantage and its correlates on the emotional, social, and behavioral outcomes of children. His larger interests concern the effects of environmental risk factors on developmental processes and trajectories.
