Benjamin Breuning
Dr. Bruening's interests are in the cognitive mechanisms underlying language. He has been involved in several neurolinguistic studies, such as an MEG study of auditory processing and an ERP study of syntactic knowledge, and several projects on sentence processing. He is also interested in syntax and its interaction with morphology and semantics. He has recently been investigating the syntax of the Algonquian language Passamaquoddy as part of the Cogntive Science Research Center for Endangered and Underdescribed Languages.
