Julie Legate
Dr. Legate's primary research interests lie in the syntax and morphology of "interesting" languages, and in syntactic theory. She has secondary research interests in language acquisition. She is currently investigating case and agreement (especially in ergative languages), second position clitics, and preverbs and vP structure. Her favourite languages are Warlpiri and other Australian languages, Modern Irish, and Mandarin.
